Re: Choice of Magazines?
I am very pleased with the Troy Battle mags so far. I don't have a lot of range time on them yet, but had no issues with the few rounds put through them in test fires. I found that I can get a better grip on them when doing mag swaps than with the PMAGS. Never stippled a PMAG, but I imagine that would fix my one complaint about PMAGs.
Going to take an RWI course and try out my Troy mags there.

Re: Choice of Magazines?
I voted Troy. I've always run PMAGS and I have a bunch of em, also have a few GI mags (thanks Coach...lol). But I like the troy better than the magpul because they have flush floor plates instead of the bulging ones that magpul has. That made mag changes at the RWI course a little trickier with the fat bottom. Also, the texture on the troys is very nice.

You seem entirely to sensible to be a RLO. Sure you did not go to Warrant school?

I heart my pmags! Good to go from the get go, yo.
You better call Kenny Loggins. Cause you're in the danger zone.

Choice of Magazines?
Knox tactical had a 3 pack of the Troy mags for ... I wanna say $35.
I like the window pmags but I now want a clear lancer mag or two. Nothing wrong with GI mags but there is always room for improvement.
I like my HK mag but its HEAVY. My favorite is GI mags with mag puls

Choice of Magazines?
I've only used Magpuls since I finished my first build and have no complaints. Looks like I'll be ordering some of the Troys to try out though. That deal is hard to pass up.
Eagerly awaiting the XDS release...
