Muzzle Brake/ Recoil Compensator
I've got a Daniel Defense M4 V5 LW and I'm looking into a decently priced muzzle brake or recoil compensator... Any suggestions? Please share your knowledge on the subject. Thanks.

Re: Muzzle Brake/ Recoil Compensator
You know the best one out there is the Battle Comp 1.0 since you have used mine.
AR Rob likes the Troy Claymore (~ $60). With the "teeth" on the front, it can double as a back scratcher !

Dpms Miculek was great on my coyote rifle -$30

I have a Kies Blast Master linear compensator on my 6.8 and it does a good job of controlling recoil.

i've got a miculek on my carbine and am thinking about getting one for the ar pistol. the only down side to using it is that who ever is off to the sides of you will not want to shoot near you.

Re: Muzzle Brake/ Recoil Compensator
Currently, Battlecomp is the king of the general purpose compensator market. In the next few weeks, however, BCM is releasing their own GUNFIGHTER Comp, to go along with everything else that is amazing and holy in the GUNFIGHTER line. It will be a full third less expensive than the Battlecomp, if the price is dissuading, and is expected to perform similarly. The design is different, and is not just a Battlecomp ripoff.
If you can't wait, Battlecomp is where it's at. If you can wait, throw an A2 on there and wait to see how the GUNFIGHTER Comp does.

To add to this, The BCMGUNFIGHTER comp will also work with A2-compatible suppressors and actually looks a lot like an A2.

Re: Muzzle Brake/ Recoil Compensator
I have a dynacomp. Love it. Not saying it is the greatest ever because everything I have owned has just been an a2. It could be a pos and I would know because it is the nicest one I have ever owned.
