Double tapping ar-15

I have a freshly assembled lower that is firing twice per trigger pull if you let off slowly. If you let off as fast as possible the trigger catches the hammer and it doesn't fall. It's a mill spec trigger nothing special and a mag tactical lower any thoughts on which may be out of spec

It's most likely the trigger, but knowing thier QC... I wouldn't be surprised if it were the lower.

Also check the hammer and sear for burrs that would prevent them from locking

Put the firing control group in another lower functioned perfect felt very different pulling the trigger. Measured the distance outside (furthest distance of the two holes for the pins is 1.055 on the functioning lower 1.077 on the one that is dropping the hammer on release.

All other lowers measure 1.058-1.059 left and right side of lower measured. must have not got a good measurement last time on that one.
The one I decided to build first was 1.080 on one side and 1.061 on the other Wtf not even close to square.

Like I mentioned thier QC was and is shit. There is a reason the lowers went from $200 to $40.

After doing some google searches on Mag Tactical lowers seems like you're not the only with an out of spec lower from them.

I have had my hands on a couple thousand of them. A bunch were pretty damn rough. Wish I still had all the pictures.

I had been halfway hand picking them when checking out but didnt think I would have to worry about if they could drill the holes in the right spot. No reply yet from the company.....
