[q uote="Dave1965"]I was shocked you had that much in the stuff you were thinking of giving for the 3 uppers. The 750 would be a slam dunk. Not sure on the 1200 especially given the description you said (colt 6920's with colt uppers and different barrels...) I was like WTF. and would probably consider it if you could look at the uppers. However, please consider that PSA (which some people here don't like because of their customer service) has sales you can get a m4 type upper without the fancy rail, the bcg or ch for like 199 right now. Add 100 for the bcg and ch and you have 300 in it, and then buy a used KAC rail on ebay for 100 and you have 400 in it. Yeah its not a colt but it is brand new and decent upper. and its not a used colt that someone would throw on an Andersoned lower and have a FrankenAR. I doubt I would buy these for $400, so there is your WWDD (what would dave do).[/quoteue]true. In all the pics they are c stamped and look in good shape. If it was me buying new if rather have a mid length

That guy is good to go if you decide you want to make the trade. I wouldn't do him any favors though.

Lol are you capable of making your own decisions?
THere is a reason I don't have an ACR, very little desire...its not that great of a weapon...and at the price point there is a lot better stuff out there. It looks cool but you don't hear much about them.

lol no I can't decide I like the ak just rather have a AR but I keep trying to talk myself into keeping the AK. It's a AR vs AK battle and they both have there pros and cons and can't decide.

I also don't want to have to send the ak off to get the front end converted, side rail deleted, and holes welded up.

A AK74 is what I really want cause it's the best of both in my opinion.

AK -74 is not what it is cracked up to be.

The Colt uppers are average in the AR world.

The gas tube is not bent in those pics just to clarify. What you are seeing is a locking lug that locks the top rail to the delta ring.

As of now I would get the ACR depending on how much cash he needed. Mainly because you don't see them that much. Hold out till you get what YOU want though, you will be much happier in the end of the day.

Buds in Lexington always has a used ACR in stock....the current one has been there for months (there is a date code on the sale tag). They wanted like 17 or 1800 for it. Sherwoods has carried one around for months at a time as well. They do not sell very well.

I've already turned down the ACR the guy wanted to much boot that I don't have. I'm not desperate to get rid of the AK cause it's honestly the best made ak I've owned so far second to the arsenal SGL I used to have. Just wanting something with lighter ammo cause my micro rig is way to heavy loaded with 4 loaded ak mags.

i say your right I went back and looked at some pics I my old upper with that same rail and it looks the same. I still have the rail and can see the little hook that attaches to the handguard retainer.

Oh and the Eotech is a 553 tan not 552. Are they any count? I've read some issues with them loosing battery contact and have a concern about it.
