Anyone here ever tried Tula 223?
I've had good luck with Wolf but can't find any. Don't think they're made in the same factory like many think, could be wrong though.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I shoot mainly Tula and Wolf. I don't see much difference between the two. I do notice both have more hard primers when using a bump stock. I haven't cleaned that AR in a thousand rounds or so shooting really dirty ammo.

Guess I got a bad batch.
I won't buy more of it unless there is no other choice

I don't like Tula at all...........don't care much for Wolf either, but it does the job........Shooting Tula is the only time I've experienced any real problems with my AR(s).............

I've heard that, has anyone here had or seen that happen?guncrank1 wrote:Biggest thing with Tula is that 5.45 x39 gets mixed with .223 and the 5.45 will jam up tight.

I have had to be careful. Almost picked up some by accident out of the ammo cans and used it.WLJ wrote:I've heard that, has anyone here had or seen that happen?guncrank1 wrote:Biggest thing with Tula is that 5.45 x39 gets mixed with .223 and the 5.45 will jam up tight.

Don't laugh, did that with 380 and 9mm. But at least 380 is 9mm shortDave1965 wrote:I have had to be careful. I'm just trying to narrow down if this is user caused or OEM caused

I bought a sealed box (1000rds) of .223 Tula and had a 7.62x39 round inside one of the boxes. No clue how that got past "quality control".

Re: Anyone here ever tried Tula 223?
I usually shoot PMC or American Eagle, depending on which I can find cheaper. I have had very good luck from both. No problems, no FTE or FTF.
PMC can be found on sale more often, so I stock up whenever I can and shoot it more.
I now have hundreds and hundreds of empty cases in a box, trying to decide if I want to try reloading it LOL.
