Most Popular Caliber and Ammo Stats
Note: they chart revenue not quantity which is what I want to see.

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I kinda figure 12ga, .22 and 7.62x39 would have been higher on the list... regardless of validity, this would be roughly my Top 10 list, just not quite the same order from what I've observed.

If it's a revinue chart you must consider that you would have to shoot 300 rounds of .22 to equal the cost of 50 9mm rounds.

Re: Most Popular Caliber and Ammo Stats
They are basing this on sales. 22 is probably low due to limited supply. If they had 10 times as much 22 available to sell it probably would top the list.kymarkh wrote:No surprise except I would have thought .22 would be closer to top

It's by revenue, not quantity.kymarkh wrote:No surprise except I would have thought .22 would be closer to top
