Is $.10 per round the new norm for 22LR?
I have been stocking up on 22LR for quite some time, but I always see the same guys at Walmarts and constantly hear them saying that 10 CPR is the new norm for 22LR.. Hell, one of them is always saying that he is doing people a service, because goes out and gets it and sells it to them because they don't have time to try and find it.
I constantly watch Gunbroker and Armslist to see what it is bringing. I am sometimes amazed at what I see it going for. Makes me want to list a bunch of mine on there and try to make a few bucks, but I haven't, YET!

That .10/rd for .22lr is ridiculous, and anyone making the noise you talked about is justifying their price gouging. I still see .05/rd .22 periodicaly, just can't find it in stock or in case quantities, yet.

No you can still find at 5-7 cents around. But supplies are improving so demand and prices are coming down. I only buy when its a type I want or a good deal on bulk.

I have been lucky to find all I need at . 07 cents per round on average.
Need subsonic ammo now. Might have to trade off regular 22LR.

The CCI subs at Shooters yesterday were just under $8.50 out the door for 100rds. and last time I found a 500rd pack of CCI standard (a few months ago) it was ~$42 out the door at Dicks.

Cheap 22, gone the way of the 10 cent cup of coffee
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I walked the Shepherdsville flea market yesterday and it seems while still gouging most of the sellers out there have backed off of the .16-.18 cent a round that they had been asking and have all come down to .10-.11 cent a round. I did see 3 boxes of Eley Prime match grade out there for .20 cents a round and I almost grabbed them....

I've got over 10k rounds of 22. I used to shoot it a lot but I have since moved. I'm thinking of unloading it here on the forum. I can't get out to shoot it like I wish I could.
