Yet Another Question For Cranky

Post by Mexican Kerry » Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:18 pm

Do you have a price for basic tuning on a 1911? If a person brought in a new pistol and asked you to go over it and tweak/tune/accurize, is there a ballpark figure you use, or is it dependent on each pistol?

Ok, say its a basic new production Springfield. Not a great trigger out of the box from what I've seen. Clean up the trigger (what do people who carry like to have for this?). What's your opinion Crank, is there something you'd do to one or just shoot the damn thing as is?

All right then. Rough price to give it a slicked up trigger job? Swapping parts or just using the originals, whichever you prefer.
