TSG-22 Glock Conversion
First!
My review of the TSG-22 Conversion kit...
It's a nice little kit IF it doesn't jam, FTF, FTE, Stove pipe, etc...
I picked it up at Keenes for 279 as 9mm was getting expensive.
The conversion kit is pretty nice, it's straight forward. Slide off the 9mm slide and slide the .22 on.
Pro's
Cheaper to shoot
It's quite fun
Easy to change out
If you only run 10 in the mag it runs quite well with little failure.
Con's
Semi difficult to clean
Any more then 10 in the mag it constantly fails
Even with 10 in the mag it sometimes fails (however this is nice as it makes you fix it, so if it happens in the real world well ya know)
You have to dry fire the glock to take the slide off, doing so can damage the firing pin I have read....
I have pics but they are to big to upload.
One big negative, I was cleaning it. Only 500 rounds and it seems it has wore quite a bit, it even looks like metal on metal is digging into the slide. Going to take pics send to company and see if they say its normal.
Anyway overall, as long as you don't load up more then 10 it's quite fun to shoot!
Any questions let me know!
IMO I would NOT have spent over 279 for it their asking price of 389 I would have not bought it but it was on sale...

Re: TSG-22 Glock Conversion
After quite a bit of research I need at least 500 rounds to break it in, and only run high velocity ammo.
So I will give an update once I hit the 500 mark.
O also after about 500 rounds it starts to fail big time from what I read, so it is a must to keep it very clean.
