got out today with the lil ruger and the mosin to try out the new found distances in the woods.

Nice videos. I am definitely envious! It would be a lot of fun to be able to get out there and shoot a .22lr all day at a distance like that.

Mosins are still my favorite guns to shoot.

What was the malfunction? And those .22 rounds sound like they're just flicking the target at 250yds.

It was being very finicky about chambering today. and had several light strikes. guess it is time to take it apart and do some major cleaning and possible replace the firing pin.
and yeah I think they were barely tapping the steel. I had more footage with the zoom at 150x and you could see the arch of the bullet it was kinda neat.
my scope was zeroed at 50 yards I had to add 10.5 MOA of elevation to get it on the steel.
