Oct 17 request

Post by Niceguy » Mon Sep 14, 2015 6:57 pm

To help keep the main post a little less jumbled up, I figured I'd start a "does anyone have..." post. Any request for firearms, ammo, gear or whatever you may want to check out that anyone may have, post it up. Also feel free to post up want to buy stuff or stuff you may have on the 4 sale table. For instance, I know Rem was wanting to compare any rimfire cans. So a few of us are bringing a few options and host options.

********NEEDED!*******

Whoots---------RMR equipped G17 or VP9, Hi/low end 1911's

Rem700------SUPPRESSORS

Me--------------MP5, anything full auto in 9mm or .45acp

Dustin--------19 or something nice in .357 haha

I still won't know if I can attend until after this weekend. I'm dying to try out mini RDS equipped pistols. A Glock 17 or HK VP9 with an RMR06 would be ideal, but overall I'm looking to try out the concept.

Does it have to be firearm related?

Or could I, theoretically, ask to try out someone's 25 year old hot blond sister??

Thought of one I'd like to see and others might too... more for fun/familiarization than practical need, but I'd like to compare a cheaper 1911 (RIA, lower end Springfield) to a 'fine' custom/semi-custom from someone like Dan Wesson, Nighthawk, Les Baer, Springfield Armory Custom, etc. I can trade for ammo to shoot through anything. I have plenty of .223/9mm

At this juncture I am planning on attending. I have a widely varied collection from 22 to 50 in handgun, and various rifles from late 1890s to present. I will entertain requests.

For those who want to see suppressors, I can bring a Rem 700 set up for a Specwar and a couple AR15s (one 300 BLK and 1 556) set up for the Saker 762. If I get around to sighting it in, I also have a 700 in 300BLK (At this point this one is direct thread, no muzzle device on it, so would be Saker)

Also have an Octane 45 (with the 9mm front caps, too), and pistons for 45, 9mm, left hand for Sig, and direct thread.

Spectre II and Sparrow for 22 variety, with hosts of 22/45, 22/45 Lite, P22, Sig 1911-22, M&P 22 and M&P Compact 22 in hand gun, plus Savage FVSR and S&W 15-22 in rifle flavor.

Let me know if these are things you want me to bring.

Can you tell a difference with the 9mm front cap? I've been on the fence about getting one for mine. The Octane is crazy quiet with 147gr even with the 45 front cap.

Not a huge difference but it is noticable
