If that were a 1" circle I'd be in...but it's 1-1/2".

Any bonus points for shooting from 25 meters instead of yards...and for using the sling wrong? ;)

(Edited to add: I wear bifocals, there was a gentle breeze, I think I might have been coming down with a cold, the mold spore count was high, it was hot...)

Just to rub it in, CD...it was shot in my back yard.
:llama:

I am going to shoot in my backyard just to spite you!

I might need bail money...

Or a can...haha

No one has done this?

Shot today with both bolt gun and semi auto. Never got 10 of 10. Either 8 or 9 of 10 every time.

I may have to try this. I can do this right off my front or back porch at my new place.

I don't doubt that one bit. But it will give me a reason to shoot of my porch.

I won't lie....I tried with a Rem 597 and Savage bolt gun....even with semi auto I think best I had was 6/10

Reading some of the comments in the link provided in the OP are funny....many act like it's an easy task.

While its far from impossible, it's not something most folks can just walk outside an do on a whim.

One of my targets from yesterday.
Target - Appleseed Challenge.png
Target - Appleseed Challenge.png (420.71 KiB) Viewed 579 times
10 Rounds Eley 22LR
Ruger American Rifle - Bolt Action, 20" barrel
BSA Sweet 22 3x9 scope on lowest power setting
Me, my sling, and my rifle on a shooting mat in prone position - in the rain.
57 Seconds elapsed time from "FIRE" command

I was completing the exercise in under 50 seconds with my semi-auto (10/22) but not any better accuracy than above. Always one or two outside the circle

After this weekend, I will try to attempt it with a MP15-22 and a Savage bolt action.
