What if someone is trying to kill and you denfend yourself with deadly force, but you HATE them?

Never a problem in a state with castle or stand your ground rights.

One problem with the wording "on fears alone" is that fear alone will not likely drive you to take someone's life. I believe it was Jeff Cooper that said something to effect of acting violently enough, quickly enough in order to win a fight. Fear alone would be cowering. When fear turns to aggression is when one can successfully defend theirself

I agree, and until now was unaware that any States had such wonky laws.

I don't hate anyone. But in the event of an attack on myself and/or my family, reasonable fear will turn to reasonable aggression to fend off the attack.
