Re: The Capacity Question (This is a must read)
I grew up with revolvers. My first hand gun was a Rossi 38 spcl. Then a S&W 357 then a 44 magnum.
I was decent in shooting them but never as accurate as I am with the semi auto hi cap's I own now.

Re: The Capacity Question (This is a must read)
Reading that strikes a nerve, and nauseates me, thinking about my old state of Connecticut where the law abiding are now limited to ten rounds, and in NY, 7 rounds, and the politicians who are still back slapping each other.
I just hope that I won't see the citizens of my new home state manacled by the same Democrat agenda.

Not sure i understand what you mean? The last statement i heard him make was "he said i hate to do this to you" and then the female cop tells him "not a word". Which in the video the guy in the white car clearly says "I hate to do this" and that when it is presumed he pulled the gun.Dave1965 wrote:last statement the cop in the BB gun shooting makes is Shit its all on video

Re: The Capacity Question (This is a must read)
IMO the video would only help his case. The man was clearly intoxicated or just not right and he did reach for something in the door and he said I hate to do this to you. So yea the video IMO only helped the officer validate his use of deadly force.

Re: The Capacity Question (This is a must read)
Ok, I'll throw in my .02 from what I took away from reading the article.
1. The author, has zero personal experience about what he is writing about. It's all based on video and what people told him.
2. If he using a typical LEO, that hands out traffic tickets 99% of time as an example of a highly trained individual. He obviously doesn't understand how little most LEO are prepped for violence of action. Most can't shoot to begin with, much less while under fire.
3. If you take anything away from the article, it should be that it doesn't matter how many mags you carry or how many guns you brought to the fight. Training is everything, practice is prefect, slow is smooth and smooth is fast or insert your phrase of choice.
Anyway, those are just my thoughts. It is a good read and a lot of valid points are brought to the table, even if I disagree with some of his references.
