This is awesome I bet a 3d printer is expensive as crap though!

So the next question is can you sell them? Or did i over read that part?

They used a 30 thousand dollar printer but said it can probably be done on a 1500 one. It implies they are working on licensing to sell them.

Gotcha I kinda read the 30k part but I guess I'm not awake as I didn't understand it lol.

Hmmm need to find some investors to get a 1500 3d printer muhahahah

I've toyed with the idea of building a 3D printer, it would be easily within my skill set. I have actually been waiting and watching for the prices to come down and reviewing designs to see which would give the proper level of precision (slop in the servos/drive mechanism can be a problem, even in good ones).

Sure you can manufactor them license will cost 150.00 for three
And ITAR 2,250 or so each year
Of course there are several 07 already in the Metro area, and computer technology is a common field of study.

I know some people that work with 3d printers at u of L. I might have to see if they can knock me out one.
