Central KY Gun Range
Wreck on I65 today so I went around it via 31W. Passed by a gun shop that I had not seen before. Nice shop has Archery range and gun range. Very clean and okay prices. They had Anderson and cmmg lowers.

Re: Central KY Gun Range
It is a nice place. Very open and well lit. I'm hoping to see them stock some more inventory as it can seem a bit empty due to the large interior space.
The indoor gun range is nice, but oddly enough I prefer the range and atmosphere at Ky Gun Co. in Bardstown much better. KGC is about 28 miles away while Central Ky Gun and Range is only 4-5 miles from my house. I guess I really need to give their range another try.

I like going to knob creek the best. Cheapest range price, cheapest rental prices, and you can shoot any ammo, doesn’t have to be brass cased.

Re: Central KY Gun Range
I went in the store today and checked it out. It seems kinda empty in my honest opinion. The salesman in the store said the range virtually keeps the place open. He also said they are having trouble getting guns into the store to sell. He gave me a business card for his business that makes and sells 1911 grips. Seemed like a nice guy.
Re: Central KY Gun Range
I have been meaning to check that place out. you can shoot 30-06 indoors there it seems like.
does $25 give you unlimited use for the month? also, I saw where a dude complained about not being allowed to collect his own brass there. does anyone who goes there know anything about this?

Sounds like Louisville Armory or what ever their name of week is.1fastmach1 wrote:I went in the store today and checked it out. It seems kinda empty in my honest opinion. They tried becoming a gun and accessory shop in addition to being a range but pulled back to being pretty much only a range.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

- Unsure on this. I think a yearly membership is $240, so that breaks down to $20/month. Unsure what all that includes.

- This issue about brass collection came up shortly after they opened. I think they altered their policy and do allow brass collection.
