The authority has not defined what constitutes a firearm or weapon.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

They said they would leave it up to the event holders as to the gun question.Rem700 wrote:Still can't carry during u of l events
However, I have been a season ticket holder for basketball for several years and so far they don't wand or check that I can see.

no KRS number attached to that building. SOOOOOOO you can be asked to leave if carrying as it violates the buildings rules and you could be charged for trespassing. Where is Neal to clear this up.

Yep and thats what some of the comments on the article were about.....basically if they aren't checking then why does this "change" in policy even matter. I have carried in YUM before and im sure ill do so again.Vividia wrote:They said they would leave it up to the event holders as to the gun question.Rem700 wrote:Still can't carry during u of l events

Thats my understanding, but they can only charge you with trespassing if you refuse to leave. If they ask and you comply they have no recourse.Robert Paulson wrote:no KRS number attached to that building. They don't say how they're going to treat CCDWs but I'm assuming they're a no go.

Re: Gun Ban lifted at KFC Yum Center?
The way Louisville is now with bands of roaming thugs I feel naked without my pistol. Last time I went to a concert I left my gun in the car but, took a couple of cheap throw away knives in case they were wanding. Thing is you never know.
If my wife ever wants to go to another one I will probably just escort her and a friend to the door and go somewhere and wait on them.

Well, after reading what was just posted on wave I guess I'll never set foot in the yum center again. The trip to and from the car is where you need your weapon.

They are not putting in metal detectors to stop people from bringing in hash pipes or vaping tubes...
of course it is about guns and of course you will be turned away even with a permit.
And of course there will be, at a minimum, an increase in car break in's during events.
