I have a seiko kinetic. Problem is, while in college, I had some of my things stored in a storage locker and my watches were amongst it. All of my watches and electronics were fine except my kinetic. You can feel the inside of the watch rook around the rim of the watch. I assume it's the charging mechanism rolling around the rim of it. I would like to have it repaired as it was a gift. Any idea who could fix it or at least tell me what it would take to fix it?

My wife failed at this cause I don't remember what she got me. I got her a nice expensive strand of mikimoto pearls. Lol. A real pearl necklace. That's just my thoughts
I think that is what we are doing. I haven't told her what I want yet, I have time. I've been eyeing those watches for a while now.

My wearing watch of choice has always been a seiko. I keep the rolexes at home and wear during some dress up occasion like a wedding funeral or large formal business meeting. Love some seikos.

Ok, so I'm torn between the 3000, and 270. The atomic feature is nice, but can I justify the additional $120?

Yep and what I'm thinking of getting is close to $300.

I'm obsessed with looking for a watch. I think I i have it narrowed down to the PRW3500. It's new this year so not much out there about it yet.

I think you get the most for your money from a Citizen or Seiko. Both offer solar power now which is nice if you don't want batteries to mess with. I end up in the water a lot so a water resistant model that never needs to be opened is important to me. You can get them very much cheaper than their "msrp" prices from multiple places like Amazon. I can get all the features I want on a watch for under a few hundred bucks.

My most recent favorite. Paid less than $100. Benefits of this one are a sapphire crystal(I scratch my watches easily) and the Japan movement.

My other recent. My first Seiko.

My first Citizen that still gets a lot of wear time.

And an older Relic my wife bought me.

Those are some sweet watches. I wish Citizen made a watch in the style I'm looking for. If they did, I would be able to purchase it locally.
