Without kicking any goblin asses I should start the castle between 2200 and 2300 tonight. Would be sooner but I started upgrading my mines without thinking about the fact that they wouldn't be producing gold for the 6 hours they would take to upgrade. How long does it take the castle to build?

Castle will be built within 8 hours, giving me at least 19 hours to build defenses and walls before my shield expires. In those 19 hours I'll make 74,000 gold to spend on defenses and walls, building my walls last because they're instant. I THINK I have my bases covered. If you see a better way or a flaw definitely let me know.

Sounds good. The only things you need to know right now are 1)Don't upgrade your town hall until you have nothing left to upgrade and 2)Don't spend gems on ANYTHING except builder huts.

Builder huts in the beginning really help out. When upgrading buildings are cheap, 4 or 5 builders really pay off

All I do is get gems when clearing the land around the village, trees, bushes, and logs keep coming back. The gem rainbows are really nice, usually 25 gems at a time.

We currently have five guys that are VERY high level relative to the new guys (Rob, myself, and Bama's new account that hasn't joined the clan maybe?). If you guys can spare a single balloon it helps us immensely. Only one is necessary, provided we don't screw up and let a battle time out.

The early goblin levels don't have any air defense, so one balloon slowly works its way through uncontested. The mid goblin levels have a single air defense, which we can take out with a handful of our own archers. My current level, for example, is worth just over an hour of my gold/elixir production. With one of your balloons and two of my archers I get a free hour's worth of production for 100 elixir.

So, if a balloon is next to nothing for you, it's quite a lot to us.

I don't normally stock balloons, but I'll build some when I have room.

Defense bolstering time. This will be a farming base. I don't care about trophies or leagues. If it isn't maxed it's being upgraded currently, except for the walls, bombs, and one gold storage I need a free builder to attend to.

See anything you would change for a TH3 farming base?

It is. The fun part is destroying others. And watching the funky animations the characters do sometimes. Picking noses and farts.
