I'm looking for someone that can move a safe for me. I've tried Klein and they quoted me between $550-650. I have Reliable Safe company to come take a look and give me a quote in the next few days. It's moving out of my garage to our new house 1.8 miles away into a walkout basement. Safe weighs approx 900lbs. Looks like this one pictured. Any recommendations?

I have a 750lb dolly. Not sure if it would handle that.

Mark is the one that is suppose to come by and take a look at it. He is not sure that it's worth moving for the price.

Sanger Crane service, Thats what I would do, get a crane truck to come in and load it on the back of the crane truck, then have him set it inside the walkout basement. Cost is around 110 and hour, 2 hour min.

A trailer with a ramp and a come-a-long would do wonders also

Are you taking jobs from us red blooded Americans that agreed to do it for $50?
Wait until I let your union in on this.

I have a 9000 lb winch on my jeep. If you have a trailer, winch it on and off.

I have a trailer for my jeep, but no ramp to load easy on it. It's set to the height of the Jeep, willing to help out. I know it sucks moving heavy stuff.

Wheels welded to the safe? 4 stout men should be able to move her no problem!

If the hinge pins come out, two people can move that safe without a problem. That is, if you have a trailer.

Rent a bob cat with fork lift attachment. Rent it with a trailer. Pick up put them both on the trailer have friends help get it in the door way. And then you can drive around a bob cat and show your new neighborhood what's up.
Sent from Project mayhem headquarters.

I used the guys at old Jets Guns in Paris KY. The charged me $250 several years ago. They have a pretty cool dolly
One guy moved my safe down stairs by himself. 900 lbs
