Sprint cell phone service?
anybody here have them?
thoughts?
Have AT&T now, they're the most expensive with the least amount of service, so time to switch.
Sprint has a couple really good deals to switch to them right now...

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

If you live in a rural area, service is not very good. I really don't live that far out in the sticks but pretty much AT&T and Verizon are the only ones that have service here. Sucks they happen to be most costly also.

Same situation here. Sprint service is not good in my area. Verizon is best these days, while AT&T used to be best.

cool- I used to have them years ago when I rode a beat- then like an idiot switchd to Nextel because it was 'cool'. I was tired of 'push to talk' in 5 minutes, and switched to ATT's predecessor-Mike wrote:I've had them forever. Like them.

No signal in Hillview, outside Etown to Bowling Green and around inside any building that has metal roof like SAMS, certain Walmarts and data is slower than an amputee turtle.
Got rid of Sprint in January and now with Verizon. Verizon is higher, but I have a signal and data I can use.

Re: Sprint cell phone service?
Verizon is king. I have sprint and get by ok with it. I have a repeater in my camper at the farm in Henry County. My EVO is rooted so I can force it to roam on verizon. So, I get cell service just about anywhere. When roaming on verizon they drop data speed to 1x, pretty much useless but, I can make and receive phone calls.
Straight talk uses sprint.

Check with Bluegrass Cell...not sure if they have a brick n mortar place in the Ville, but their service is hard to beat.
I been with them for 15+ years...
Live outside of town... most cell service won't work at all where we live...BG has always been known for getting signal to these type areas.
Right now u can get 4 smart phones, no contract, $125 a month shared data 4Glte...unlimited talk, text and no roaming for calls n text

I want to say our data doesn't have roaming either... we also have home internet thru them and it's no roaming... we can take the router anywhere in US and use it...just can't recall if 4g on phone is the same, but think it is.

I have Cricket and have had call, text and data everywhere I have been. You have to buy your phone but so far the new Cricket has been great but if you dont like AT&T you might not like Cricket. 40 50 or 60 a month depending on how much data you choose.

I'm 15 miles west of Ft Knox. Had ZERO signal with Sprint. Went to Verizon & couldn't be happier. And my current plan is about $15 cheaper, although data isn't unlimited like Sprint was.
