AC/DC's Malcolm Young has Dementia
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/ ... a-20140930
Hate hearing this. I grew up loving their music (Bon Scott>Brian Johnson) and still listen to them regularly.
The family of founding AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young has confirmed the illness that forced the 61-year-old to quit the band. "Malcolm is suffering from dementia and the family thanks you for respecting their privacy," they said in a statement, according to People.

"THUNDER" is one of my favorite songs. Can any guess why? Love "Back in black" (the album), too!

That's the gospel right there!! I think Brian Johnson is great but Bon was the man. Powerage and 74' Jailbreak are my two most listened to things on my iPod.Toddstang wrote:(Bon Scott>Brian Johnson)

I was very near the stage on the floor. Everyone was standing after the show started. About 15 minutes in someone fired one up. In seconds about 5 under cover storm troopers surrounded him and dragged him out.Marcus wrote:I was at that show as well.baknblack wrote:Sucks, 61 is young for that.

I am an old fart! I saw them as the warm up band for Kiss in 1976 at Freedom Hall . Yes I wore Gene Simmons makeup and had the real long hair to go with it! Angus got on Bon Scott`s shoulders and came out into the audience. I Became A Fan RIGHT THEN! Yes KISS rocked as well but AC/DC was the one to see that night. Geno

I used to have LRS walrus stickers in the rear side windows of my '68 Camaro. Powerage was one of the best albums ever, and was played quite often on the under dash Craig Power Play 8 - track in the Camaro.Wyldman wrote:Old fart here, too.
