What did you pick up today?

Doesn't fit in the other categories? Maybe just want to post up some humor or random happening? This is the place for it.

Yeti has no open carry and no concealed carry signs on the entrance to thier facilities, all of them.

No more of my money goes to Yeti.

OH HELL! You know him too???
I used to work with him,... He's the one who turned me on to these forums. Comical guy for sure. We even went on a 4 day drinking binge up in northern IN. while attending training for some equipment we have at work. And I'm hooked up with him on FB, so I see his work frequently.

Don't see him on the forums anymore tho.

Haven't seen him on the forums in a LOOOONG time, but we are friends on FB. Seems like he transitioned most of his free time to tinkering with cars instead of guns.

From what I've seen, that's about right.

Plus he's got a kid to deal with now as well.

Yeti has $40 glasses and $600 small coolers. That's too rich for my blood...

Got mine steeply discounted, but I wouldn't buy anything else from them, even if it was free, now that I know this.

My choice to not support a company that does this, no different than any other business, to me. Do what you want, this is my choice.

Same here. I have a $40 Coleman cooler in my truck at work and it keeps ice for two days in mid August. I can't see ever needing a Yeti, especially at those prices.

I can attest to yeti's definitely working as advertised. My buddy has two of their hard coolers that get a lot of use. I bought this rtic to be my new day cooler on the canoe trip. My cheap igloo cube was OK, but ice retention is everything when you only get to restock a couple of times. To me it's an investment. Still wasn't cheap but beats the shit out of a Yeti price and works just as well.

its not a day. It's four days in direct sunlight. The less ice I have to add over that time the better.

We call them out day coolers because they are the ones we keep basically between our legs with all our immediate use beer and liquor, then we restock them from the big coolers as they get low.

The $400 savings can buy a lot of extra ice if you need it.
