Not into it but I met the owner of 3 local smoke shops this weekend and he makes good money apparently at it.

The people that own those shops make a killing off of it.

I seen kids using ecigs at the local fair this weekend. What's wrong with parents these days?

I don't smoke because it will stunt my growth. I'm going to be tall when I grow up...

yeah that's what he was saying about the mark up. He just said though keeping employees was hard and he always had to be at work because nobody runs your business like yourself. I agreed with everything he said. He almost convinced me to work there lol, he said I give them a laptop, wifi, ac, cable etc and I said "ok but when is there work?" And he said "exactly!"

My mom has been using an e-cig for months now. She likes it. Smells better than the cigarette smoke.

I smoke blue e cigs occasionally. My wife picks us up a regular carton once a week even if we don't need them. I told her let me finish the carton and grab me a blue e cig kit istead. I'm ready to give up all the extra health risk of real cigs. Don't want one of those giant vaporizers looking/feeling like I'm packing around a lava lamp in my pocket though. Lol.
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

a buddy of mine who was a smoker since he was about 13 (parents smoked and he picked it up early) just started using one of these recently (he is baller with $$). He uses pipe tobacco i think so im not sure how "healthy" that is. Im sure its safer but i bet e-cigs are still safer since he still uses tobacco.

Yes. All I pay for is juice. I rebuild the coils myself. Juice is cheap and sometimes I make my own. I have a few buddies who make their own as well.
That's a win already. Smokes are ridiculously expensive.

Not bad. I don't actually smoke anymore but I recall the costs. Just curious is all.

This is where I order from . E cigs are substantially cheaper than real cigs . I like the 510 battery set up . And buy your atomizers/clearomizers(tanks)off ebay . 1 tank in the store is around $8 . A sack of 10-15 off ebay is $15-20 . Ce4 & ce5 are both good tanks imho

I have three Hcigar Nemesis clones, one with a Russian 91%, one with a Fast Tech Kayfun lite clone, one with a fogger v4. I have a tobecco Hammer clone I keep a Magma clone on for use around the house. That magma clone from Fast Tech is really nice dripper. I've got a few other drippers I don't even pick up anymore.

I started with an ego kit, then started rebuilding and tweeking Kanger protanks on an Innokin SVD. I gave all that stuff away to help other people get started vaping.

I build my own coils too. I spent the first few months spending way too much money and playing with coils. Now I'm lucky to keep them rewicked like I should. I'm still going through the juice I ordered but I've been making my own and have enough flavoring stockpiled to make my own for the next few years probably.

It cost me a lot up front but now I'm literally spending nothing and man do I feel better than I have in years.

Breakin' it down Barney style.....

Heat nicotine in water with flavoring until it turns to steam. Suck in steam. Rejoice! You have the effect of a cigarette without sucking in the smog from burning leaves.

You can also step yourself down on the concentration. I started pretty how but now I'm down to 6mg nicotine juice.

All that lingo I threw around is basically saying I started with a basic setup and moved up to devices that had more capacity, were more durable and produced more vapor. It's kinda like guns. Start with a bone stock 22 pistol or rifle that is plenty adequate but before you know it the thing has been tweaked and modded to do even better. Some folks will be fine with the stock rifle, some will want to find out what they can do with it.

Well, since July when I last posted a response to this thread, things have changed. I have completely quit smoking real cigs and only smoke electric. Down from 24mg nicotine doses, to 16mg now. (think going from full flavor to medium).

I started out by buying a Ego-T starter kit for $25 which included everything but the liquid. It served its purpose...I quit smoking with just that set-up. However, I felt the need to upgrade. From there, I've upgraded the tank, the coil and the battery. By the time it's all said and done, I don't even have an Ego-T cig anymore.

My current set-up that I'm running is:

*iTazte VV battery- which has adjustable voltage and wattage in digital display and includes a puff counter and an ohm reading to keep track of the condition of the coil.
*Kangertech T3D tank with a 1.2 ohm coil

With this set-up, I can turn my voltage and wattage up high and make smoke like a black and mild cigar, or dial it down and just smoke like normal. Battery lasts me all day but I charge it every night regardless.

I've also saved money in cologne now that I don't have to mask the smell, saved money on nasal spray because when I was smoking my nose constantly was stopped up and also don't get upper respiratory infections every 2 or 3 months like I used to. Definitely don't regret the switch.

EDIT: All my upgrades were purchased at AltSmoke in Middletown.
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".
