Cigars

Post by 1fastmach1 » Mon Dec 16, 2013 9:11 pm

So, I've never seen cigars mentioned on the forum but I figured maybe some of you guys were into them. If so, what are you smoking?

I'm smoking a Drew Estate UF13. What a fantastic cigar.

That is all.

My go to's that i keep on hand are onyx reserve, a. Fuente 8-5-8 maduro, and the My uzi weighs a ton by drew estate. Punch always makes nice cigars with a low price point. And its hard to go wrong with the macanudo maduro line.

Anything drew estate does that isn't an infused cigar is right by me. I can't get into the infused stuff though. I'd like to find a box of dirty rats by drew estate. His liga privada is out of this world!

Ahh cohiba. You like a little spice. Are you referring to red dot cohiba or authentic cohiba?

I love the nub camaroon. Great stick at the price point.

If you like a smooth medium bodied cigar, I'd recommend a hoyo Epi 2. If your a medium to full kinda guy then a cohiba robusto or any of the cohiba siglos are fabulous. Bolivar royal corona and bolivar belisco fino are also great medium to full sticks. It depends on the size format you like. I like robustos. Plenty large enough for a good smoke but not so big that it takes two hours to enjoy it. All of these are better once they've got some age on them. I've got a box of cohiba robustos that were date coded in May 2008. They are over 5 years old. I've smoked about 6 from the box over the last few years. Prolly one of my favorites.

Also, h uppmann royal robustos are amazing. They were a limited release in 2012 and only sold at authentic brick and mortar lcdh stores. I have two boxes and try are great. They are getting hard to find though.

You just gotta try different stuff to see what it is you like.
