On the rare occassion when I still smoke a cigar, I still prefer my Portofino's, but damn, they are pricey!

I've never been a big macanudo fan but I've smoked a few. Macanudo is a common name when people think of cigars. That's why they are pricey. You can get good cigars from across the pond for cheaper than you will pay for Dominican or Nicaraguan sticks.

If you ever wanna do some trading than lmk. I've got an end table humidor with an oasis XL humidifier. I've got about 30 boxes of different embargo brands. Several boxes are aged nicely. Lmk!

Been a long time since I smoked one but I was always a maduro fan. LA Unica #4 and Las Cabrillas were my preferred H Upman Havanas were pretty tasty. Smoked them when we used to go to Canadian strip clubs.

I have a dozen (with the box) of these Montecristo Millenium Momento 2000's ... I actually had 2 boxes and smoked all the cigars out of the one ... the box has a cutter and is a nice collector itself...

And then, I have this one with the presidential seal ... (given to me by a good friend that works for the SS and was assigned to protect someone close to President Bush during his administration) It's in pretty bad shape, but I keep it in the Humie anyway... I need to attend to my humidor a little more often... it's below 50% right now...

I got your msg Medic.

As you can see in the picture below, the box that holds my singles is a perfect 66% humidity and 68 degrees. That's just the top tray obviously.

If you don't take care of it, the sticks will dry out and most likely won't be recoverable. You should try some heartfelt beads if you're serious about cigars. They are fabulous. Make sure to never use distilled or tap water. ALWAYS use purified water for your humidifier. Walmart sells it by the gallon jug. It's cheap as hell. Don't make the mistake I made when I first got into cigars.
