There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I stopped after season 3 because of this.Rem700 wrote:They are years into this apocalypse but yet so many seem to have NOTHING figured out. I don't get it either.
Seems like another LOST type series.

haha and they are still scavenging for canned foods and packaged stuff. Shelf life on that crap is not that long. Love them using bottled water like last night. Oh, yeah it was only produced 3 years ago...ugh.
Can't wait to seem them eating more dog food like Darryl.

Re: The Walking Dead
I can go for more of Negan's world. Killing zombies, having a personal army. Him going around fucking shit up, smashing heads in, then heading back and plowing his own harem.Mike wrote:Dear The Walking Dead, can we please get the real walking dead back? This sitcom shit is annoying.
Let's change the name of the show to Every Man's Dream!

His charismatic, expresses concern for subordinates. When he saw Carl was really hurt he relented and apologized. That's a true leader. He keeps order in a chaotic world. He's not eating people nor does he have jars of heads.ssracer wrote:Negan is the greatest character that has ever been on the show

Re: The Walking Dead
I think the total opposite. He tries too hard to be the character. His little shoulder slumping thing he does and the little sayings. I'm just over the show glamorizing him. I miss the days of the governor and battles and killing zombies. Now we get entire episodes devoted to random characters and 10 minutes worth of a sitcom stretched out over an entire episode. I'm bored watching it and catch myself knowing what to expect.

If it follows the book, it is going to be few and far between the epic battles. Lots more interaction with Negan and his trying to control multiple areas. I almost dropped the books halfway through the Negan saga which has lasted over 4 years in book releases.

Re: The Walking Dead
It's finally came to three tiers in the human world now.
The apex predators: the zombies are nothing to them at all. More of a nuisance really, and something they can use to control the other two tiers
The trophic humans: these are people like Rick and his crew. They have been making it and going good until they hit the WALL. They can survive when controlling a small group of the next category
Total Sheep: these people have one purpose, to provide whatever the higher echelon tiers want. Their survival depends on keeping them happy. They cannot fight, nor mount any successful long-term defense with counter-strike against the other two tiers.

Re: The Walking Dead
I'm on the Negan train, love him or hate him. He may be evil, but he's a NECESSARY evil. I thought that the Governor was a weak character. He was TOO cut throat and creepy. Negan is much more charismatic, but doesn't have much for a back story or character development so far. I'm eager if anything, not real excited about the series like I used to be.

Re: The Walking Dead
I bet Negan was either a Canon copy machine salesman or worked at a Barnes & Noble before all this happened. Once all this went down, he decided he wanted to be ontop. He knows logistics or has somebody that does to be able to have so many outposts. Then to keep it all running. That just doesn't keep going with the threat of fear.

The wife will not sit next to me on the couch because I like Negan. She says he's a cruel ruthless man. Yeah and?! Bahahaha!
