Nah the dig racing ain't a problem with them. I'd run him dig racing. You have to see it to believe it. I'll look the video back up on YouTube and show you some of the footage. I know the guy, it isn't a set up video. It really is beyond words. It is a full interior street car.Wyldman wrote:With a 2.4 second 0-60 time, I should hope so!

Be the first to donate. I'll put your name on the car as a sponsor. The song "can't be stopped" was Roy Jones Jr when he did a rap album. Wasn't half bad honestly but his boxing is his time to shine.Dave1965 wrote:Yep, color me impressed ...and I like some new music.jackalo626 wrote:Guarantee a lot of people after seeing this will be impressed.

This GTR gets the business...
I remember the night this video was shot. I know both of the guys in the video with the bikes. They are friends of mine from etown. Both of those bikes were bone stock except swing arm extensions and slip on pipes. I've actually rode the grey 2006 gsxr1000 on several occasions. The car is super fast with the twins from a roll. But, let's face is. Roll racing is like kissing your sister with tongue. It's just terrible and wrong. I'd like to see a couple passes from a dig with chans yellow busa now. It would be a much better race. That said, that's a sweet GTR. Great way to spend 100k. I love em.

Re: This GTR gets the business...
Takes a lot of money to get any extra real power from a bike unless you spray or turbo. Most mods are people putting on extended swingarms, strapping from end, gearing and chain sets, and air shifters to get the power they come with to the ground. I agree about roll racing but even then you are talking about a car with awd and launch control so it would still shine though be a bit closer than the blowout witnessed on the hwy. It is just really stressful on cars these days with so much power to dig race, tearing up axles, diffs, and transmissions. If you watch the bikes in the video, the 1000 keeps leaving the Busa. When I bought my bike, people always compared it to a Busa but my year vs same yr Busa "06" in the 1/4 mile the 1000 wins. Top speed is a different story after mods.1fastmach1 wrote:I remember the night this video was shot. I know both of the guys in the video with the bikes. They are friends of mine from etown. Re: This GTR gets the business...
Being able to keep the car together and get it down the track is an even bigger part of a race than making big power. Anyone with some knowledge and money can make big power. Most struggle to keep it together and get it down the track.

Re: This GTR gets the business...
You're right. I know a lot of people who have the money to make major league power, but totally lack the the talent to use it, or the know-how to keep it together.
I still laugh every time I see/hear a really loud vehicle that that makes all kinds of mean noises and goes nowhere. I just can't seem to get across the idea that loud does not equal fast.
Living just off of Westport Rd., I hear really mean sounding vehicles using it as a race track, all the time. The funny part is that the noise starts, and goes on, & on, & on.
Fast means that the noise starts and diminishes rapidly as the vehicle dopplers away. This is very rarely the case, around here.
