Well it is 41° here at 7:30. Rain was supposed to change to snow mid afternoon. I am hoping they are wrong by 20-30°. Don't need temps below zero for 36-48 hours.
Cutting grass is the price I gladly pay for not being cold.

Watch out for flash freezing of the roads tonight as the rain will make them wet and the dropping temps will freeze them quick!

Gave my kerosene heater a trial run and got plenty of fuel.
Hopefully the power doesn't go out and I don't have to use it.

Insulated the faucets outside and checked all my water pipes in the garage and attic to make sure they were well insulated yesterday.

Everything here in my yard in PRP is covered in ice now. Roads are gonna be rough in the morning. Glad I only have a 3 mile commute to work. Got a bunch of firewood. Should be ok here.

It's currently 16 degrees here with a wind chill in the single digits. Hard to believe it was 50 degrees 12 hours ago! Unfortunately it will not get any warmer today than it is now. Temperatures will continue to drop today to eventually be below zero tonight. Windchills will get as low as -30.

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.
