Its happening again. Screen does not come on when I turn the computer on. It is getting power monitor works, just no signal. Computer will not go past one beep and just idles in that state.
Things i have tried.
-Taken memory out and put back in
-Swapped memory cards
-Unplugged HDD cables and reconnected
-Cleaned fan and the device under it with compressed air
Letting it sit turned off right now for a bit to see if it will fire back up when cooled down a bit.
I have everything i need backed up on an external HD just in case this did happen again i wouldnt have any worries. I did reset the computer back to factory about a week ago. Here is a shot at what i am looking at.

Tried to boot it up again. Nothing different. Just sits and idles. CD drive works, everything is connected properly, just no signal to monitor.

It is not posting. If you have additional items such as video card, wireless card etc.. Take them out and try again. If that doesn't do it then motherboard or possibly but not likely power supply

From what i understand this has a video card integrated into the.motherboard

I would wait a minute or two and watch the cylinder light on the hard drive( The light that isn't the power light ). If it starts flickering after say 20-40 seconds, you can assume the PC safely past the POST ( Power On Self Test ). If that's the case I'd say it's a safe bet your video card is bad. If that doesn't happen it doesn't mean it isn't the video card though. Try that and let us know the outcome.
Also, can you tell us what brand and model PC it is? Specs? Does it have PCIE slots? Any info you can provide would help.

It is an emachines EL-1852G model. I got it working now after a few tries of booting it up and taking the memory cards out and back in.
I have a feeling my days are limited with this thing(I hope not) but it gives me a reason for a new shiny laptop.
