Viper Alarm installation

Post by Till » Sat Jun 30, 2012 2:29 pm

Anyone know any good people that do alarms?

Just purchased a Viper 5901, with audio sensor, shock sensor, and the bypass.

Might do it myself but figured I'd see how much someone will charge first.

So if anyone knows a good person at this let me know, or a good place.

Thanks!

I found it almost cheaper to buy a new alarm and have it installed for free.

My dad took my viper off one of my cars and installed it on another.
Remote Start and all. It took him about 3 hours and he never done it before.

I wouldn't try it myself. Lots of wires and on a newer car I'm sure it could be easy to f something up.

I was going to buy it from best buy but they wanted 500 for the alarm plus more to install plus double to triple the for the module I needed and the sensors...

So it would have been pushing 800$

So far I have 270ish tied up in it

Even if I HAD to pay 500 to install it, it's still cheaper.

Yeah 10-4 talked to a guy who said 150 and that the audio sensor wasnt good and the additional shock sensor wasn't really needed so he's already saving me money!
