Looking to add this last ak style to my small collection. Looking for import or one built from imported parts kit. Looking for the older cheaper options: romanian, yugo, polish. Not looking for new production.

Would love to just hold either parallel or slanted style stock to see which I prefer if you can help me with that. I’ll buy you lunch or a case of beer if you can let me shoulder your folder for a few mins and just look down the irons, lol. Located in shepherdsville.

I see I can grab a romy kit built online pretty easy, but a bit hesitant thinking one or the other style of stock may be much preferred.

Was curious what the forum might produce.

(Got a very good deal on a usa built polish kit on gunbroker)

I know its a different topic but anyone who went to that let us know how it was, the louisville gunshows have been super weak and not worth going to imo. I think I saw a whopping 2 import mil surp ak’s at the louisville gun show last year.

I haven't been to a gun show in years. Was rather unimpressed save for the beef jerky options. I avoid knife shows because they are dangerous(to me). All it takes is a stroll by some Benchmade and Zero Tolerance tables and there goes a 2 week paycheck.

I'm not safe at gun shows for sure!
Haven't been to on in over 20 years.

That's been my go to place for gun purchases. Prices are always negotiable with cash there.

I think I only have one folder AK and its the AMD-65 version which is not like the regular AK.

I do think the amd 65 is super cool, but underfolders are ice cold, and Ive only got room for one ice cube in this styrofoam cup.

I never had an issue with my AMD 65.
Stock works great for me.
