Stock or aftermarket. Can be on the ruff side as long as it's functionally okay. Or even a cheap shitty complete rifle I can strip down to the receiver. I want to build/assemble an awesome 10/22 how I want it...

I haven't ever built one. I've bought a couple cool ones, but never built one exactly how I want. So far I have a threaded KIDD ultralite match barrel that I've had for well over a year (probably over 2) and not installed in anything. That's it...haha

I have that same barrel. It is nice. Mine is threaded. Good luck with your search.

The last one I picked up was used as a trade before I managed to do anything with it. I wanted the trade more than I wanted to build a 10/22 at the time. It happens...haha

I bought one with this same barrel in it and the rifle didn't feed for shit, so I traded or sold it...haha I actually want to tinker with one now so I figured why not assemble from butt to muzzle and have what I want.

Will it cycle CCI/Aguila/Norma Standards at all? None of my 10/22 will cycle quiets/suppressor ammo reliably, but will all cycle Standards and have no crack suppressed. Gemteck Alpine or HTA Guardian.

It will cycle cci standards reliably without the suppressor. It does a fair job with it. Maybe 1 FTF in a 25rd magazine. Every few will have a sonic crack though. It's a noticeable difference.

The Kidd bolt handle comes with 3 springs. I wonder if the 10% decreased spring would cure this?

think I have a pretty scroungy looking 10/22 somehwere....see if i can locate where I put it.

Why not get the KIDD recievier?
