Howdy ya. I am looking to get my deck repaired. Anybody on here or know of somebody that is handy at that type of construction and wanting to earn some extra cash? I am located in Brooks.

Sounds like your whole deck may be a no go lol. 4x4's sitting on ground is bad. If the deck can move with the freeze and thaw it will fall apart quickly.Toecutter1978 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:18 amSo those blocks are a nogo? Ok. I have 4x4’s sitting on the ground I believe in some places.
I hope not. I hope that at least the frame can be salvaged. It would cut the cost down.Rem700 wrote:Sounds like your whole deck may be a no go lol. 4x4's sitting on ground is bad. Oh I am. I was going to build a new coop and shed, but just the repairs on my current coop ate at the new coop funds I sat aside. The new shed money, well that can wait till prices come down, hopefully. I just don’t want the deck falling. It needs to be looked at.Rem700 wrote:Also keep in mind lumber prices right now are through the fucking roof.....so be prepared to butt pucker on the materials side of things.....
