Re: FAL type L1A1 from the 1990's
Touche' Andy! LOL. The Kahr pistols are really nice, and the one you have for sale is the best of the best. Hope all is well your way! Geno

Re: FAL type L1A1 from the 1990's
Not certain to be honest. The only markings I remember is the stamping of the importer, CIA. Century Arms International IIRC. I know some Century firearms have less than stellar reviews. This one has been without issue. About 5 years after this rifle I ordered 2 STG 58's and they were junk. Both went back for new muzzle devices as the muzzles of both were bare before a magazine of ammo was fired. They came back with brakes that were welded in place by a drunken monkey from their appearance. I sold both rather quickly for what I had paid for them, after the factory had "gone over" them.
All of that said, this rifle hasn't been a problem since I have had it. It was even used on a deer hunt just to change things up a bit a few years ago.
Thanks for your interest.

Re: FAL type L1A1 from the 1990's
1. Gas piston driven.
2. Ergonomic grip and controls.
3. Inexpensive 20 round box mags.
4. Adjustable gas system.
5. 7.62 NATO round. Making cover into concealment for almost 70 years!
6. Easy to find parts.
7. Easy to clean gas system and action.
8. Almost adopted as main battle rifle when the M14 won because the US was more comfortable with an improved M1 Garand.
9. Adopted by more than 90 countries as their MBR. (Second only to the AK )
10. Way cool and just shoots. Adjustable gas system aids in this.
All for the price of a run of the mill AR that we all have!
Oh yes, Bump.
