Trust and E-filing help
hey guys I'm in the process of trying to go the trust rout and looking at e-filing a form 1 before the first of July. Has anyone else gone through and able to give advice? I know some other people are in the same boat as me with this one! Appreciate the help guys!

Wildcattrust.com
Simple.
Make your trust name short and simple and use that on form 1 and not your name.
I made the mistake of putting my name on there.

Lots of places sell trusts or you can get a template and fill in the blanks. I know lots of people say go to Aaron Baker, but personally I'd have to say fuck him. He's a bleeding heart liberal piece of shit.

Re: Trust and E-filing help
My uncle is a part owner of hands on orginals. He is also a former Navy Seal sniper. They were approached by the gay and lesbian organization to print shirts for them. One of the other owners who runs the day to day is very Christian and declined to take their business because it goes against his religious beliefs. Aaron Baker, on behalf of the organization , sued my uncle's company. He also lost.

Not sure if Wildcattrust.com is owned by the liberals or not but I just spent some time looking them over and I think they are who I'm going to go with. Thy also have a nice walk through for e-filing a form 1. I'm gonna work on stuff over the next week or two and hopefully get stuff filed. My wife is onboard with it so that's good. Only problem I'm having right now is trying to get part of my basement finished and needing money for that!

Re: Trust and E-filing help
Just an fyi, Aaron Baker, is the person behind wildcat trust. I'm not saying anything negative about his trusts because I have heard good things. I'm not an attorney and don't really know his situation, but to Dave's point, i guess no morals is they way of life for a lot of attorneys. I just have a hard time giving money to a guy that gets paid off frivolous lawsuits because someone got their feelings hurt.

Re: Trust and E-filing help
I have used Aaron, and found him to be a good source of info. I didn't use the cheaper wildcat trust boilerplate, but his more expensive service. (I think it was $200) Two years after i started my trust, i wanted to restate it to remove some trustees that moved to California and i wanted NO PART of them on my trust. He did the restatement for free. His quick guide to NFA items is very good.
As to Shaggy's family's experience, well, that's what lawyers gets paid to do. I may not like that he took that case, but he has a right to his opinions same way I do. Since he is a firearms enthusiast, at least we appear to agree on that.
I learned a long time ago that I rarely agree with anyone on every single matter, political, social, economic or otherwise. There are very few "litmus tests" I will use to judge a person thumbs up or down based on a single belief. I generally choose to focus on the points most germane to the current discussion.
Use him or don't use him, that is YOUR right, after all. There are other trust preparers out there.

It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. - Daniel WebsterMexican Kerry wrote:Except for Viv. Re: Trust and E-filing help
I used 199trust on the advice of another member. Great experience. They were very helpful. Gear hog has the trust on sale for $49. I don't know anything about their political stance or any other issue for that matter. I do know that Tyler did make my experience very easy.

Re: Trust and E-filing help
I have used 199trust.com for a number of my clients. They ate great to work worth. Very fast and easy. You can't go wrong. Let me know if you need any more help. But make the name of the trust short. If you are going to form 1 something then you are going to hand to engrave the name of the trust on it.
