M92 PAP Pistol

Post by Smithengineered » Sat Feb 28, 2015 10:36 am

Has anyone on here SBR'd a M92 pistol? I'm looking at doing this in the near future, but wondering if I need to swap out the trunnion? I'm going with a stormwerkz folding mechanism. Looking at the inside of this does not look like it has much meat to hold a stock....

Seen quiet a few just drill & tap the rear trunnion. That's how I did my Draco, dunno if the thickness is similar or not to the PAP. I'm not planning on doing pull ups with it or breaking off doorknobs though either.

I looked in my Draco and it's much beefier than my M92. Same here on not trying to do any heavy duty stuff with it.

easiest/cheapest sbr on those is the VZ58 side fold stock, that has the single, large threaded screw. Drill and tap on the rear end....bam.

Check out Meridian...they did one this way. Pics are on here somewhere...
