Anyone done any research on these? In my opinion 99.9% of universal do all anything never seem to do any one thing well. I wonder if it holds true for these?

Definitely an interesting can that I have been checking out the limited info on so far. Sucks that we have no local dealers that stock griffin that we could check one out at next month when they start shipping them.

I agree. I'd like to know more about it...

I was looking at the revoloution 9 to run in a K configuration on a 9mm sbr. Since this can in the pistol configuration is the same size I'd definitely consider spending a few hundred extra for it for the ability to use it on a much broader range of calibers. Lots of people seem to love the liberty mystic. This seem like a better version of that to me.

Silencer shop. It wasn't in stock, but didn't have a wait list. Seems like when I was talking to the guy from there on the phone today, he said they were supposed to be getting a shipment of them in next week or so.

That is how silencershop had the obsidian listed the other day when I was trying to order. When i called them, I was told it would be 2 months before more were available so i ordered from another dealer. Just an fyi incase you dont want to wait, Quiet riot has it in stock for $895 if you would rather get the form 3 going immediately. http://www.quietriotfirearms.com/mobile ... =GAOPTIMUS

An update. I spoke again with Silencer Shop and verified that the Optimus suppressor was not in stock. The thing is, they are just awaiting the transfer from the manufacturer. ATF has to approve the list of cans they are going to build and the transfer to the dealer. After they receive approval, Silencer Shop says they will get a list of serial numbers from Griffin. Once they get the list, they submit the Form 4 to ATF with the serial number they will sell me and the transfer paperwork to Lincoln here in KY. All in all, the length of time for me to actually get the suppressor shouldn't be significantly longer than if they actually had them in stock. Maybe a month or so. They are saying the approval times for form 4's are expected to spike due to the 41P EO and people with trusts rushing to get paperwork in the pipeline ahead of it's implementation. We shall see...

We shall see mayhem and chaos at least through the summer.

Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.

If I have this can by my birthday in August, I'll be happy.

Just got a notice from Silencer shop with a serial number for the Optimus to start the transfer process. The dealer transfer from the other suppressor I ordered took about a month to clear and the form 4 to be sent in on my behalf. Looks like it will probably be around September timeframe for it to be complete.

I considered getting one of these but between them being out of stock and almost trice the price of the can I got I couldn't do it.

I was originally going to get the Saker because it sounded like the perfect can. When I tried to order it, they said none were in stock and not going to carry the Silencerco brands any longer. At one point I had a Pilot 2, the Saker, and an Octane 45 can in my cart. I was looking at around $2600 for everything with the stamps. Going with just the Optimus and Pilot, I was at about $800 less. Granted, no 45 can, but everything else I have, or will have, is going to be able to be suppressed with those 2 cans. Realistically, I should be able to just have the Optimus for everything. The Pilot will probably stay on my wife's 22/45 exclusively. I am leaning toward going away from 45 acp totally.

I've already got a .223 can and was mainly looking for a 9mm..the only other thing I have I could have used it on would have been .22 and both guns would need work for that so I just went with a 9mm can

Just checked my transfers at the Silencer Shop. The form 4 was submitted for my GA Optimus suppressor on 4/5.
