During an exchange with a local reporter earlier today, Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan was asked if America has a gun problem. Ryan responded by saying, "America has a crime problem." Ryan then went on to discuss how treating and reducing crime in the inner cities comes from economic opportunity, not gun more gun laws.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

We have a self important douche bags that need to get kicked in the neck problem.
Guns are not a problem, if anything they are likely a solution.

But it is a solution that puts power into the hands of the common man, this means less power in the hands of government. The left fears this power because it stands in the way of controlling people for, in their minds, their own good.
