198 unit low income housing development. Prospect city council is fighting it. Metro is pushing it. They say its senior living but to qualify only 1 person over age 55 has to live in the unit and up to 3 more adults can live with them. Just move the ghetto to a nicer neighborhood and the people will change! Yea right.....

Crime will go up, property value will go down. In time people will move out to a less ghetto area to escape that environment like they already did. You can't change people by moving them to a different zip code.

I have said for years, that whole city suburban living some of you enjoy is way over rated in my book. I travel 2 farms over on a side by side to shoot 1000 yards, deer hunt in my back yard. Cut firewood on my own property. My driveway is a quarter mile long, no noise, the air is great, and it still cost less then a house in prospect.

Ive been trying to get some non-profits to work on the old Ice House next to the Interstate (across from the Baseball Stadium) and turn it into affordable housing. I don't think the nice condo development next door will like it though. Oh well, they shoulda bought the building.
