Abolishing Kentucky's income tax

Post by WLJ » Wed Nov 09, 2016 9:36 pm

"It would be inappropriate of me to say we're gonna do X, Y and Z first," Bevin said on Tuesday, shortly after election returns made clear that republicans would have a majority in the House for the first time since 1921.

But, Bevin was more vocal Wednesday morning, telling WHAS radio's Leland Conway that he would consider calling a special session to deal with Kentucky's tax code next year, and that he was willing to consider abolishing Kentucky's income tax.

"It's unfair to say that it could or could not be done," Hoover said. "Would that require a special session, or could we do that in 2018? I'm not sure."

The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Unlike sales tax, income tax is slavery

And sales tax will effect all the worthless fucks living off us not paying income taxes. That's not talking about people legitimately using disability and stuff like that, that's referring to the ghetto/mountain/trailer trash and anyone else that's able and just to damn lazy to work...

Several states that I know of with no state income tax appear to be below the national tax rate average...including TN and Florida

Just my opinion, but income tax (as others have said also) should be gone. Increase sales tax to make up the difference.

People have a very different reaction to taxes on the outgoing end vs taxes that are taken out even before you see your money on the incoming in. Out of sight, out of mind, so to say. And the govt knows that.

Eliminating the revenue burden associated with income tax is enough to make up most of the difference

I always thought a consumption tax was the fairest way to tax. Even folks avoiding federal tax, like cash workers, illegals, etc., would pay their fair share.
