Please remind her that it is widely believed that no guns were involved in the plane highjackings on 9/11. A few armed citizens just might have changed the outcome of those events. I would say that if we were free to fly with our guns, no one would have attempted a highjacking.

I am really gleaning a lot of information from this thread. I love having facts at the ready when someone doesn't have a hardened ideology either way. I meet a few in my work and will pass this along.
