Good read - Opinion on the SCOTUS Obamacare ruling

Did not want this to get lost in comments of the other post about recent SCOTUS rulings so a new thread it is...

"The entitlement state has killed the separation of powers."

"Our constitutional republic is now passing over the horizon, what will replace it is yet to be seen."

Its what I said in the other thread, all the people working for a living will either get fed up and start to jump on the entitlement band wagon or fight back from all the crap that eventually wears them down. "Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated."

A frightening read. Aregularguy on YouTube closes with the line, "A regular guy's firearm is the last defense against tyranny." We are fast approaching the point at which that is our only defense left. One thing the gun panic has caused is made our oppressors well aware of the firepower in the hands of citizens. This will keep the dogs at bay for a while.

Dave is right. The entitlement state is exhausting to folks like us
"The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or the state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."
