To the guy carrying the gun into Red Lobster on Friday night

To the guy carrying the gun into Red Lobster on Friday night - 41 (Clarksville, IN)
age : 41
You probably remember me. I was the woman yelling "gun" at the top of my lungs and pulling my children away from you when I saw that you had a pistol openly strapped to your hip. I'm not really a gun person and I couldn't understand why a civilian would be carrying a gun into a crowded restaurant. I'm assuming you were a civilian because, well, I have lint in my dryer that's older than you are, and you didn't exactly strike me as an undercover cop. So, what exactly had you scared enough to arm yourself before going to Red Lobster? Were you worried that you'd have to use deadly force in defense of your Admiral's Feast? I mean, the food is pretty pricey, but it's only metaphorical "highway robbery," isn't it? Besides, the Cheddar Bay biscuits are totally worth it, in my opinion.
Before you start extolling the virtues of the Second Amendment and the "right to bear arms," just save it. As an attorney, I can guarantee you that I am more familiar with both the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights than you are. I'm not criticizing or trying to restrict your right to OWN a gun. I just have a problem with you openly carrying it around on your hip. We were in Clarksville, Indiana, not the Wild West -- we don't have to arm ourselves to walk the streets.
I'm sure you probably have a permit that allows you to legally carry a deadly weapon. My question to you is why do you feel the need to? Does it make you feel stronger or safer? Do you think there will come a time when someone will challenge you to pistols at dawn and you want to be prepared? My guess is that you're overcompensating. You strap something to your hip to make up for what you DON'T have in your pants. So do me a favor the next time you decide to come to Red Lobster openly packing heat -- just stick a pair of socks in your underwear and leave the gun at home.

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

She is right. never in history has there been someone robbed, shot, killed, or raped in a Restaraunt nor the parking lot of any such establishment in the history of modern society. Guns are not needed in such places ever.

As an attorney,
That right there and the way she went on with her rant just told me she is a stupid bitch that went to some libtard college and was fed with a silver spoon her whole life.
Best part of her ran down her momma's leg.

Really, open carry is dumb unless a uniform of some sort is being worn. Yes she is a libtard, but her description is pretty accurate , at least with the 2A heros I have seen.
They actually sound like the perfect couple.

I have been challenged to pistols at dawn. (working construction in Atlanta) Does that really make me any different than this guy?
Oh, and I second all the libtard comments above

Last time I opened carried (actually I just did not want to get Arby's sauce on my suit jacket so I took it off when I sat down for lunch) I got to talking to a family near me and they signed up for a CCDW class.
Why are anti-gun people always talking about penis size?

I guess I am dumb and don't have a thing in my pants or don't know how to use what little is there. I have to compensate.

Because she did not have one and desired to have a foot long baloney roll.

Funny part is the anti's want the same thing the pro's want the ability to go about their daily lives without the fear of you and your being killed, robbed or raped. IMHO she want's the right too ball up in the fetal position and take it, I on the other hand want the right too fight. That's why I carry concealed, you have to remember that the vast and I do mean vast majority have the stupid in them.

in Kentucky, any citizen can detain another (citizen's arrest) if they know that a felony is being committed...by that person
the key being 'know that a felony is being committed'...it's easy enough to figure out rape/robbery/armed assault/burglary, but not so clear when a Wanton Endangerment would be covered- creating the environment where a reasonable person should know that serious injury or death could occur. If people started stampeding out the door, knocking over little children (or the lobster tank- poor lobsters) creating such an environment, then yep.
And slapping the bitch across the face would be included in the 'detaining'
