I have to start colonoscopy's at 30 because of my mothers colon cancer.
It's really not a big deal. One thing did surprise me the first time, though. I was still groggy from the anesthetic when the nurse handed me photos of the inside of my colon.
What the hell?
I don't know what the inside of *my* (as opposed to someone else 's) colon looks like, so if your goal was to prove to me that you were up there...fail.
