Legal advice wanted

I have an idea to start a website where you would pay a few dollars to join the site and then you would have a free weekly drawing for products anyone who joined the site is automatically put into a list to win said product. I'm having trouble determining because apparently online gambling is illegal as well as raffles when the person has to pay for the ticket of that raffle but it seems like a grey area where the raffle is free and you had to pay to join the site in order to be on that raffle. Would anybody happen to have any experience with this type of situation?

Yes if this happened I would be going the route of a limited liability company legally through all the right channels.
