Bicycle sidecar
Been working on a stupid project lately, for hauling my 2 1/2 yr old when we go biking. We've got a kiddy trailer for pulling but I wanted something different.
Just put the first coat of paint on it, then fill and sand before the green goes on. Going to try matching the paint to the bike. The "M1919" is pretty much done, just have to fab up a mount for it and then he's ready to rock. The gun doesn't cock or click, but the charging handle is on a spring so he can at least work the action.
Here it is as of now. Raining still, so a good day for puttering on this.
Just ran out of gas for the buzzbox, so welding will have to wait until next week when I can get more.

Oh how cool!
It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. - Daniel WebsterMexican Kerry wrote:Except for Viv. Re: Bicycle sidecar
Thanks folks. The older kids are helping me with it, we're trying to decide on what style of nose art to do on it. Should we go pinup girl style, or something else? Kids vote is for shark teeth.

Re: Bicycle sidecar
Got the hack painted now, and working on the teeth etc.
**I'm not an artist, so no comments about my gr 4 level painting.**
Went with a slightly simpler version of the flying tiger I found online. Like I said, not an artist. Was going to get the wife to do it, but she doesn't like coloring inside the lines.
