RE Factor Tactical ASO Bag
Too much for a bug out bag?
Just seeing what all I could cram in this thing tonight. Turns out, a lot. Damn heavy to lift, but it does have shoulder straps too...

Re: RE Factor Tactical ASO Bag
I bet it weighed a ton. You're going to need a bug out wheel barrel to carry it off.

Re: RE Factor Tactical ASO Bag
Looks like it defeats the purpose of being mobile enough to bug out. Mine weighs 14lbs and I'm looking to shed some weight.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.

It's not really a bug out bag like this, though it could easily be with a different setup, I was just joking. It's mainly my range bag and I was just seeing what it would hold tonight. It was seriously heavy. But with a lighter load you can attach the shoulder straps and wear it as a backpack in a pinch.

That was kind of my thinking too. How much does all that weigh?nemo wrote:Looks like it defeats the purpose of being mobile enough to bug out. Mine weighs 14lbs and I'm looking to shed some weight.

Re: RE Factor Tactical ASO Bag
That's better. I think that as a bug out bag, I would last ten minutes lugging that thing around. My range bag weighs a ton, but that's okay. My life will never depend on my range bag.ssracer wrote:It's not really a bug out bag like this, though it could easily be with a different setup, I was just joking. Re: RE Factor Tactical ASO Bag
I didn't even think to take the time to weigh it. Maybe I'll put it all back in there tonight and toss it on a scale

Re: RE Factor Tactical ASO Bag
Do it. I have an SOE bag that has a few things in it but nothing for the end of the world. I guess I call mine a get home bag and even that I'll be honest is hardly ever with me. I can't trust it to not be stolen out of my car with no trunk or my suv with 100 windows.ssracer wrote:I didn't even think to take the time to weigh it.
