Did some trading here and there, and I ended up with this. It's the first 1911 (and 45) Ive owned. Just looking to see what its worth (considereing I don't know much about it and it was a spurr of the moment type of trade.

Does show wear but seems to function without fail... I'd say finish is about 85-90% came with a serpa holster, box of ammo, a 7 rounder and a ten rounder...

Any advice on upgrades, mods, or any value information would be great, THANKS!!!

Is it a "new" Thompson/AO or an older one?

I've seen them go for anywhere around $425-500 used. They are decent 1911s and are almost on par with a Springfield 1911 GI model. Hope that helps ya out.

I have had two of these in the last ten years. Both functioned fine and no problems. Lower end 1911 that I decided to step up to something else.
