New Remington R-51

I am interested in this new compact. Even more interested if the other new Glock isn't 9mm....

That thing is uggggggly. I'd pack it if it was a nice piece though. I'm not really concerned with looks in a firearm.

Interesting for sure, but not really that small. I don't think it's terrible looking.

So Remington is putting out a single stack 9....before glock....SMH.

It is pretty ugly, I'd like to see the insides.

Same feelings here. I still like my larger capacity handguns but this would be a great casual carry gun when I need something lighter as if in sweatpants or nylon shorts in the summer with no belt loops. It would not be my primary carry gun but I would give it a shot (no pun intended), especially for a retail price sub $400.

Come on, it's not that bad, in fact I kind of like it.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I think it looks pretty cool. I would own one if the reviews were good. Wouldn't want one of the first runs, let the bugs get worked out first.

Honestly most people think bullpups are ugly as dog poop but you like them so you must know your taste is eclectic/different... This thing is ugly.

You like Glocks right? Enough said.

No not enough said. I am not saying your taste is wrong, I am saying it is not what is considered common which is why you have told me you like bullpups. I do like Glocks for the same reason I said I'd give this a try and that's because they function reliably. I don't think Glocks are beautiful but something is to be said of simplicity. This gun has tried to make itself into something pleasing to the eye. I still don't pick guns for aesthetics but it is a bonus when they aren't ugly.

Reminds me of colt 1903 or 1908 with the hammer and grip safety. I want to see on but it might on want list.

Looks more like the blaster guns on the Buzz LightYear ride at Disney.

I bet it carries like a dream. All dehorned and stuff. I don't like low capacity guns but if the price really is sub $400 I could see me buying one for fun.
